Whether it is before or after a visit to the local Licher brewery will of course depend on your condition, but a wander through the historic town of Lich is simply a must. Be prepared to discover a great many traditional timber-framed houses, an impressive church tower, quaint little cafés, a prestigious castle and park, and much more.
By the way: since 10th March 1300 Lich has been entitled to call itself a town.

Standing 50 metres high, Lich’s impressive tower (“Stadturm”) dominates the entire landscape and is the town’s emblem.
Once you have conquered the 150 steps, the view from the top over the town and the surrounding area is fantastic.
