The ideal wedding location

As you can see, Klosterwald offers numerous options for creating your very own personalised dream wedding. We have various function rooms/areas available – in particular the “Klostersaal” (Abbey hall) and the “Sonnenterasse” (Sun terrace) in the summer.

We do not only provide the perfect conditions for your wedding celebrations but also a unique setting for the ceremony – the picturesque “Paradieskapelle” (Paradise chapel) in Arnsburg Abbey (photo left). The old ruins of Arnsburg Abbey also provide the perfect backdrop for wonderful wedding photographs.

Open-air ceremony – your own individual style

More and more couples wish to have their wedding ceremony out in the open, which lends a particular charm to their celebrations. The park-like grounds of Arnsburg Abbey also offer great possibilities for this and we are sure that we will be able to find you your own favourite spot.

“My brother celebrated his wedding here and since I live around 644km away, I arrived early. You get a friendly welcome right away and when I got to my room “15” I was already excited, but then, when I saw the view, I was completely enchanted. The rooms are decorated in a typical country house style and that makes them really cozy. The breakfast was small, but with a nice selection, also for allergy sufferers. The food and service at the wedding reception were great! When I visit my brother again, I will definitely stay at Landhaus Klosterwald again”

For most wedding celebrations, our banquet hall with adjoining fireside lounge (180 sqm) is of adequate size. Weather permitting, there is also an optional covered terrace measuring 180 sqm.

So you see, we have enough space to host your care-free wedding! By the way: we do not impose time limits on wedding celebrations at Klosterwald!!!
