At 03th july 2023 we were awarded with four stars!

Landhaus Klosterwald has been rated in the German Hotel Classification by the Hotel- and Gastronomy Association DEHOGA Hesse e.V. Within that, four stars were lended to us for the first time!

Now with four generations living under one roof, our family stands for tradition with a future. Upholding our gastronomy business, which has become well-known and popular far beyond the borders of Lich, these four generations have one thing in common: the well-being of our guests.

It all began 60 years ago. At that time, my parents-in-law, Willi and Marga Haupt, opened “KLOSTERWALD” near Arnsburg Abbey. Their first guests were people from the immediate vicinity, but the catchment area expanded constantly, making it possible to invest in the enlargement and embellishment of the business. Klosterwald grew with this intake of guests and became the epitome of congenial hospitality.

A splendid success for which I am very grateful and which, I hope,

will also be maintained for generations to come.

We celebrate 60th. and 90th. anniversaries!

The next two years, 2023/24, will be marked by two major anniversaries. First, Landhaus Klosterwald will celebrate its 60th birthday in 2023. A year later, we will also have great occasion to celebrate the founding of the Haupt family’s first gastronomy business in Arnsburg Abbey in 1934.

We cordially invite you to celebrate these wonderful anniversaries together with us. You can look forward to some culinary surprises!

OUR OPENING HOURS:

We are open daily from 10:00 am.

Our kitchen is open from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm (2:30 pm on Sundays and public holidays) and from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

In the afternoon, a small snack menu is available.

In addition, we offer a wide variety of gateaux and cakes.

All home-made of course!

At Klosterwald, all function rooms, toilets and the entire outside area have wheelchair access. This also applies to 7 of our 15 hotel rooms. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning!
