Now with four generations living under one roof, our family stands for tradition with a future. Upholding our gastronomy business, which has become well-known and popular far beyond the borders of Lich, these four generations have one thing in common: the well-being of our guests.
It all began 60 years ago. At that time, my parents-in-law, Willi and Marga Haupt, opened “KLOSTERWALD” near Arnsburg Abbey. Their first guests were people from the immediate vicinity, but the catchment area expanded constantly, making it possible to invest in the enlargement and embellishment of the business. Klosterwald grew with this intake of guests and became the epitome of congenial hospitality.
